Community Chest goes live on 1st July 2013
The North West Ipswich Big Local Trust has set aside the sum of £15,000 for its first year of operation (Sept 2012 – Aug 2013), which will be made available to local groups and organisations through the Community Chest.

A BIG LOCAL Date for Your Diary: Saturday, 14th September 2013
The BLT Partnership is planning to hold a grand BIG LOCAL EVENT on Saturday, 14th September 2013, at Whitehouse Park, just off Norwich Road, Ipswich. The event will run between 12.00pm and 5.00pm and be a based upon traditional summer fayre with a number of marquees, a variety of stalls, activities and competitions going on throughout the day

£40,000 Grant Award Scheme is launched
The BLT Partnership is now pleased to announce that a further £40,000 has been released. The BLT Grant Award Scheme goes ‘live’ as from 1st March 2013 and applications can be made for two levels of grant funding.

NW Ipswich Big Local Plan gains Seal of Approval
For the last year or so, the North West Ipswich Big Local Trust has worked with local residents to develop a Big Local Plan, which sets out community priorities for investing up to £1 million, over the next ten years. The funding, which has been earmarked by the Big Lottery Fund, has been set aside for the wards of Whitton, Whitehouse and Castle Hill to bring about positive change for the area.
