In November Castle Hill School contacted us to see if we could help them by taking in their 7 chickens over the Christmas holidays when they would be shut.
The idea of having cute, feathered & mobile ‘rotavators’ at the Community Garden was exciting but sadly not practical but we posted a plea on their behalf to the community and wow did you step up!
After many Shares, Likes & Tags local resident Alison kindly took them in & gave them a well deserved holiday.
They loved it so much they even restarted laying for her and a big thank you to you and the big trust
Ian Field, Caretaker
We are glad that we could help.
