Jim Manning of Whitton Youth Project-WYP has been awarded the British Empire Medal for his “Services to Young People and the community of Ipswich”.
Jim is a true champion and ambassador for young people. His commitment and dedication to the children and young people of Whitton, Whitehouse and Castle Hill is an inspiration to us all.
Diana Porter,founder of Fresh Start-New Beginnings, has been honoured as a Member of the British Empire (MBE) for her “Services to sexually abused children, young people and their families”
Thank you Diana for developing such a complex, difficult and sensitive service for young people in NW Ipswich and the rest of Suffolk.
